About the Position
Ikett Personalpartner is now seeking a trailer builder/technician for VM Trailer in Härryda. We are looking for someone with experience in mechanical work who is comfortable reading drawings and working hands-on in a workshop.
At VM Trailer, you will work with manufacturing, assembly, and customization of trailers, carts, and specially built transportation solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Build and assemble trailers and carts
• Work according to drawings, measurements, and work instructions
• Assemble chassis, axles, sides, and other equipment
• Weld, cut, drill, and grind
• Install hydraulics and pneumatics
• Work with electrical systems and lighting
• Perform modifications, repairs, and customizations
• Check measurements, fit, and function
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience in mechanical work, assembly, workshop, or similar
• Can read and understand drawings
• Is experienced with hand tools and workshop machinery
• Has a technical interest and can solve practical problems
• Is thorough and quality-conscious
• Can work independently and take responsibility
• Holds a class B driver's license
Experience with trailers, carts, trucks, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, or vehicle electronics is a plus.
You don't need to be an expert in all areas. The most important thing is that you have a solid mechanical foundation, can read drawings, and are experienced with practical work.
