You will contribute to sustainable community planning at both strategic and operational levels through work that includes: Your main responsibilities: · Preparation of traffic studies and analyses as the basis for planning and decision-making. · Work with planning infrastructure for public transport, car, pedestrian, and cycling traffic · Participate in the municipality's ongoing comprehensive and detailed planning projects as well as design projects. · Commission, coordinate, and follow up consultant assignments. · Handle traffic-related matters and manage referrals. We are looking for someone who is confident, experienced, and curious – someone who is accustomed to working with traffic planning and wants to continue developing. We believe you have: · Relevant university education, for example in urban planning, traffic analysis, or similar · Documented experience working with traffic planning · Good ability to apply legislation within PBL and VägL · Experience collaborating with many stakeholders and building trustful relationships · Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with a solution-oriented approach If you have previously worked in a politically governed organization, we see that as a merit.
