Job Responsibilities As a traffic planner with us, you are responsible for planning and creating timetables for passenger trains, freight trains, and special transports on the railway. You review and manage planned track maintenance in the system to ensure it occurs safely. In the role, you receive internal and external requests and based on these you conduct analyses and ensure that there is capacity on the railway. You hold discussions internally within the Swedish Transport Administration and also work closely with both railway companies and contractors. To assist you, you have various system tools to create good conditions for achieving a market-oriented production plan that maintains high quality regarding punctuality and traffic safety. We are looking for someone who: has a university or college degree of at least 180 credits (120 points) in urban planning or logistics with at least 1 year of consecutive administrative work experience alternatively has other industry-specific education combined with several years of relevant and current experience working within railways, logistics administration, traffic planning, or similar has good system understanding where you are comfortable working simultaneously in multiple systems such as planning systems and case management systems has good experience working according to current regulations and requirements in your work has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Other Information The work location for this position is Gothenburg. Web-based tests are used as part of the selection process. If you advance in the process, the tests will be sent out preliminarily on 9/21. Initial interviews will be held via Skype preliminarily during weeks 41-42. Travel occurs during basic training to Solna and Ängelholm distributed over 5 weeks. Do you want to work partially remote?
