Read more about us at http://www.nobina.se/. The Västernorrland and Norrbotten traffic areas have undergone extensive transformation in recent years. As part of our continued development, we are now strengthening our traffic management and building a team of traffic controllers based at the Gärdedepå facility in Sundsvall. Traffic management has an important mission in daily operations and is responsible for two traffic areas with approximately 450 employees and around 200 buses. Together, we work to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable traffic for our passengers and provide our drivers with the support they need to succeed in their work. As a traffic controller, you are a resource and helping hand to our greatest asset—our drivers. Welcome on the journey. About the Position You will work at a workplace where high demands are placed on you to deliver good service and quality in often eventful conditions. You have the ultimate responsibility for supporting our drivers in delivering to our customers. When deviations and disruptions occur in traffic, you have operational responsibility for leading and allocating resources to minimize customer impact. You are also responsible for communicating relevant disruption information to customers, drivers, and other stakeholders through available technical systems. Personal Qualities and Qualifications We are looking for someone who works long-term and with a solution-oriented approach. You handle problems and deviations methodically. You can analyze, prioritize, and continuously assess the information you receive. The role requires good communication skills and the ability to work under time pressure while maintaining quality. Your ability to handle stress is important for succeeding in this role. As a person, you have a high service orientation, are unpretentious, empathetic, and have good teamwork abilities. It is advantageous to have good local knowledge, a D-category driver's license, and previous experience in customer-focused traffic operations or similar telephone or customer service work.
