EXPERIENCED TRAFFIC MANAGER AT TEMPCON TOMMY NORDBERGH ÅKERI AB Are you an experienced traffic manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with many contact points and significant responsibility for daily operations? Tempcon Tommy Nordbergh Åkeri AB is looking for you—someone with solid experience from the transport industry who wants to create efficient transport solutions together with drivers, colleagues, and customers. JOB DUTIES As a traffic manager, you have a central role in daily operations and work with other traffic managers to plan, lead, and optimize transports. Operations consist primarily of domestic temperature-controlled local and long-haul transport. You maintain close and ongoing dialogue with drivers and actively work to create efficient operations with high quality and good service. Your responsibilities include: · Daily traffic management and transport planning · Control and optimization of vehicles and transports · Ongoing contact and dialogue with drivers · Monitoring of driver schedules and working hours · Introduction of new drivers · Ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal procedures · Customer contact and follow-up on completed transport assignments · Managing rapid changes and problem-solving in daily operations The position also includes scheduled on-call duty or standby shifts. QUALIFICATIONS AND PERSONAL QUALITIES We are looking for someone with solid experience in traffic management or transport planning and a good understanding of the haulage industry. You understand both customer needs and drivers' working situations and have the ability to see the bigger picture in daily operations. As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and confident in your leadership. You thrive in an environment where conditions can change rapidly and where you must be able to prioritize, make decisions, and maintain a high level of service simultaneously. You are communicative and social, with an ability to build good relationships with both drivers, colleagues, and customers. We expect that you have: · Experience from the haulage or transport industry · Solid experience in traffic management or transport planning · Experience leading, planning, and monitoring drivers' work · Upper secondary education · Good Swedish and English proficiency in speech and writing · Good computer skills and knowledge of the Office suite It is an advantage if you also have: · Category CE driving license · Experience with domestic long-haul transport · Post-secondary education in logistics or traffic management · Experience with TransPA and T5 · Very good IT skills ABOUT THE POSITION This is a permanent position.
