About the job As a service architect within networks, you are responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the architecture for a service area consisting of several product areas. The service area includes data center networks, WAN, perimeter, and load balancing, and the work is conducted in close collaboration with the office network product area. Each product area has its own product architect and delivery capability, but together they form a cohesive network capability. Your task is to create a clear overall picture and ensure that the product areas develop in a common direction based on target architecture, principles, and standards. You operate at the intersection of business and IT, ensuring that network services support operational needs, both today and in the future. You work strategically and tactically by: • developing and advancing target architecture for the entire service area • ensuring alignment and direction across product areas • defining and maintaining common principles, standards, and guidelines • supporting product owners and teams on architectural matters • ensuring that solutions interconnect and form a stable, secure, and scalable whole The organization is undergoing a technical transition toward more automated and flexible network solutions. You have a key role in this journey and work closely with other architects, product area owners, and the operations organization. To succeed in this role, you need to bring people in the organization along with you. The work therefore involves engaging, anchoring, and communicating architectural decisions and creating understanding for dependencies and interactions between product areas. Furthermore, it is desirable that you have work experience from a product-oriented organization. It is also desirable that you have work experience from the public sector and relevant experience with agile working methods. Good to know The employment is permanent and may be initiated with a probationary period of six months. Employment with us may involve placement in a security classification. A security clearance with a register check in accordance with the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment.
