We are seeking engaged and flexible nurses who want to work as temporary staff at one or more of our residential care facilities for the elderly in Norrtälje Municipality. You can work day, evening, or night shifts. Single shifts or more continuous temporary assignments/periods. You will have the opportunity to contribute quality care and support at our facilities in Norrtälje, Hallstavik, Rimbo, and Blidö. About the Position
You will work when our regular nurses are on vacation, sick leave, or otherwise absent. You are a key person and are responsible for ensuring that prescribed nursing interventions are carried out. A driver's license is required, as we sometimes need to travel between our facilities.
Our residents often have multiple illnesses, which requires you to have broad knowledge of various diseases and conditions, as well as an interest in older people. We work in teams based on the residents' needs.
Your responsibilities include:
- Ward rounds and physician contact.
- Medication management.
- Medical assessments.
- Supervising care staff.
What We Offer:
We offer wellness benefits through Epassi, even for temporary staff. The benefit is calculated based on hours worked and can be granted when the service level reaches at least 75% of full-time. The amount is adjusted proportionally based on service level, up to a maximum of 5,000 kr per year.
About You
For this position, you need:
- Valid nursing license.
- Category B driver's license for manual cars and good driving experience.
- Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Experience from elderly care.
- Specialist training in geriatric care and/or palliative care.
You enjoy working with our residents who often have multiple illnesses, as you have an interest in older people combined with broad knowledge of various diseases and conditions. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation, which enables you to confidently handle this important part of the work. You have good collaborative skills, which are valuable when working in teams based on residents' needs. As a nurse, you have nursing responsibility, which suits you as someone who is structured and clear in your communication.
