As a personal assistant, you provide individualized support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique and your work tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly. About the Role Working as a personal assistant demands strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. Our client is a man in his 30s who lives in Kumla and has extensive care needs, partly due to his epilepsy. He has a strong interest in sports and enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends, and going on outings. As his personal assistant, you will accompany him to both day activities and the swimming pool. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria: • good knowledge of Swedish • good physical fitness • able to accompany the client to the swimming pool It is also desirable if you have: • experience working as a personal assistant or similar role • experience with epilepsy • experience with feeding tubes • experience communicating using Bliss or similar methods • shared interests with the client Personal suitability will be given significant weight. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary This is a temporary hourly position, meaning work as needed. Shifts can be on weekdays or weekends. Work hours are scheduled during daytime, evenings, or nights (active hours). Hourly rate will be agreed upon, with other compensation according to the collective agreement. We prefer you to start immediately or as soon as possible.
