Do you want to work as a personal assistant and make a real difference in people's lives? Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act Concerning Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your work tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly. About the Position The role of personal assistant places high demands on your ability to build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. Our client is a man in his 30s who lives in Kumla and has extensive care needs, in part due to his epilepsy. He has a strong interest in sports, enjoys watching sports, spending time with friends, and going on outings. As his personal assistant, you will accompany him both to day activities and to the swimming pool. We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria: • has good knowledge of Swedish • has good physical fitness • can accompany the client to the swimming pool It is also advantageous if you: • have experience with personal assistance or equivalent work • have experience with epilepsy • have experience with feeding tubes • have experience communicating using Bliss or similar methods • share the client's interests Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary: The current employment type is "hourly employment," which means work as needed. Work shifts can be on weekdays and weekends. Working hours are scheduled either during daytime, evenings, or nights (active hours). Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement. We would prefer you to start immediately or as soon as possible.
