WORK TASKS
When you work as an assistant in elder care, we offer you meaningful and varied work at a residential care facility, in home care, or at a short-term care facility. You work primarily with service tasks and social activities with the goal of providing good and safe care and creating a meaningful everyday life for the service user. The work also includes documenting important events according to applicable procedures.
You become part of a skilled team consisting of assistants, care assistants, nursing assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists.
Residential Care Facility:
As an assistant at one of our residential care facilities, you work closely with residents throughout your shift and support them in their daily routines by providing care and support to our service users at one of our facilities. The individual's needs determine the extent of service and care. Among other things, you perform service, care and support services and carry out planned activities based on each individual's specific needs. Together you work to create a good environment for the individual.
Home Care:
As an assistant, your role is to contribute support to meet each service user's individual wishes and needs in daily life. You work with service tasks that facilitate daily life for the individual based on the individual's implementation plan, with the goal of creating a meaningful everyday life for the service user. You move by bicycle or car between service users.
We actively work with the elder care career pathway model where there are great development opportunities through further education within the profession.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who:
• Are at least 18 years old
• Have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing
• Have good computer skills
• For home care services, a B-class driver's license is a requirement
It is meritorious if you:
• Have previous experience working in care and support
