About the operations As a substitute, you will be employed by the HR Unit for Staffing and Payroll, which is a unit within Vallentuna Municipality that recruits hourly substitutes and manages short-term staffing within the municipality's operations. You will work as an hourly substitute within Cleaning Services, an engaged team of approximately 40 people. Together, Cleaning Services is responsible for maintaining the indoor environments in the municipality's buildings and leased facilities. Job duties Working as an hourly substitute facility cleaner means providing the best possible cleaning service to our customers. The work is varied and requires the ability to take initiative independently. You will work throughout the municipality in different types of facilities. This could mean that one day you clean at a school or preschool, the next day in our office spaces, and the third day at one of our youth centers or libraries. Typically, you follow a schedule that specifies which spaces need to be cleaned and in what order. For example, if you're cleaning at a school, a typical workday might include cleaning the gymnasium, restrooms, corridors, stairwells, classrooms, and cafeteria. As a substitute, you work when one of our regular employees is absent. We are primarily looking for substitutes who can work weekdays. Working hours vary, but typically you start at 06:00-07:00 if you work a morning shift, and if you work an afternoon shift, you typically finish around 20:00. You start and end your workday at the same location where you are cleaning that day. Cleaning Services is not just a support function – the department is an important part of creating a welcoming and inspiring environment for everyone who uses our facilities. Qualifications Good knowledge of Swedish. Meritorious: cleaning training and ability to provide SRY certification or Pryl certificate. Meritorious: documented cleaning experience and knowledge of various cleaning techniques. Meritorious: familiarity with operating cleaning equipment and knowledge of different materials and cleaning products. Meritorious: B-class driver's license. Meritorious: ability to reach Vallentuna quickly by car or public transit (within a maximum of 1 hour). Good physical condition, as the work can be physically demanding.
