JOB DUTIES Meals are a whole experience, from individual to product and feeling. In a positive and natural way, mealtimes should be a natural part of everyday life for children in preschool. We are now seeking temporary kitchen staff for our reception kitchens at the municipality's preschools. As temporary kitchen staff, you replace regular personnel during absences and work at different preschools according to operational needs. Therefore, it is important that you are flexible, enjoy variety in your work, and feel comfortable working in several different kitchens and work environments. Work shifts are booked based on operational needs and can sometimes arise with short notice. We therefore see that you are available and can be reached according to agreed availability. Food served is delivered from our cooking kitchens to the reception kitchens at the preschools. Your role includes: • Prepare salads and serve lunch to the children • Manage self-inspection and hygiene routines • Wash dishes and clean after meals • Prepare snacks and sometimes breakfast • Retrieve food carts from units as needed • Wipe tables and chairs and sweep the floor after meals With us, you get varied work where you contribute to creating a positive mealtime experience while becoming an important resource for the operation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • Enjoys working in an environment with children. • Has a good sense of order, hygiene, and structure. • Has good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. • Is flexible and enjoys working at different preschools and in different kitchens. • Can adapt quickly and has the ability to take work shifts even with short notice. • Is solution-oriented and can work independently. • Handles stress constructively and maintains good demeanor even when the pace is high. • Advantageous if you have education or experience from work in kitchens/preschools. To work at a preschool, you need to provide a certificate from the police records register, which you order via the police authority's website. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
