JOB DUTIES As a substitute hourly staff member, you need to be flexible and able to step in where needed, sometimes on short notice. You are a present adult who enjoys participating in play, picks up on children's initiatives, and dares to be yourself. At the same time, you are professional, take responsibility, and contribute to calm and structure even when the day doesn't go as planned. You collaborate with colleagues, take your own initiatives, and ask for support when you need it. We have well-established routines and clear organization that help you get into the work. The work also includes practical tasks such as setting tables, making beds, and tidying up. Sometimes kitchen duties may be included. QUALIFICATIONS We believe you are a warm, trustworthy, engaged, and curious person who enjoys being with children. You have an easy time building relationships and meet each child with respect, attentiveness, and care. For us, it is important that you enjoy the role of participating pedagogue. You don't need to be the one who always leads the play; sometimes it's about sitting down on the floor, building a tower, reading a book, following children's imagination, or simply being nearby when needed. You see the possibilities in everyday small moments and contribute with energy, playfulness, and new ideas. At the same time, you need to be a trusted and professional adult who can set boundaries, create structure, and adapt your approach to different children's needs. You have good collaboration skills and pedagogical insight and work according to the preschool's governing documents. You have childcare training or equivalent and can express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. We place great importance on your personal qualities.
