Our activities are located in Heby, Morgongåva, Tärnsjö, and Östervåla. The Role As an hourly substitute with us, you work when regular staff are absent or when we need to strengthen our operations. We appreciate if you are flexible and can work at multiple locations and at different times, including evenings and weekends. With us, you have the opportunity to meet many different people and be part of activities that create meaningful recreation, security, community, and development for the municipality's residents. This is What We Do Youth Activities At our youth recreation centers, you work with children and young people and contribute to meaningful recreation. You help create a safe, drug-free, and welcoming environment where young people can socialize, develop, and be themselves. We are looking for someone who is positive, social, and has an easy time building relationships. You are confident in your role as an adult and are driven by creating meaning for children and young people. Work takes place primarily in afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Swimming and Sports Halls In our swimming and sports halls, you are an important part of creating a safe, secure, and welcoming experience for our residents. The work is varied and can include everything from helping and guiding visitors to more practical caretaker tasks. A job for you who likes doing a bit of everything and enjoys being where the action is! Work shifts occur from morning to evening, weekdays and weekends. Libraries At the libraries, the visitor is at the center. As a library assistant, you meet people of all ages and contribute to the library's work with service, reading, democracy, and public education. You should have a natural sense of service and enjoy meeting people. It is an advantage if you have an interest in reading and culture. The municipality has three libraries with opening hours that vary between Monday, Wednesday–Friday, 10 a.m.–7 p.m. Cultural School The cultural school offers instruction in a range of subjects from piano and saxophone to dance and musical theater. Here we are looking for someone with pedagogical thinking and knowledge in one or more of our subjects. You become a trusted adult for children and young people and have the opportunity to contribute to their creativity and development in the world of culture. Work takes place primarily during daytime on weekdays. Are You the One? For all our activities, we are looking for someone who is confident, positive, engaged, and responsible. You have an easy time collaborating and communicating, and you enjoy meeting people. Relevant experience in the activity you are applying for is a merit, but personal suitability is important to us. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. A driver's license is required in most of our activities. Criminal Record Certificate For work in several of our activities, you are required to present a certificate from the police's criminal records and suspicion register before employment is considered. You can advantageously order a digital certificate as part of your application to us. The certificate may be no more than six months old.
