Lunds Waldorf School, founded in 1978 and located in the picturesque Hardeberga area near Lund, is now seeking flexible and committed hourly staff for the school kitchen. The school is an independent, non-profit foundation with approximately 170 students in grades F–9 and around 40 employees.
Lunds Waldorf School bases its operations on Waldorf pedagogy principles, where care, community, and a close relationship with nature are important parts of the school's overall mission. School meals are an important part of students' days and contribute to security, well-being, and good conditions for learning. In our kitchen, we prepare only vegetarian food.
Job Responsibilities
As hourly kitchen staff, you will fill in as needed and support the daily work in the school kitchen. Your tasks may include:
helping with preparation and serving of vegetarian food,
setting tables and clearing away in the dining hall,
washing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and serving areas,
assisting with simple kitchen tasks according to instructions,
following routines for hygiene, food handling, and quality control,
contributing to a pleasant and safe meal environment for students and staff.
Qualifications
You need to be available for at least one shift per week. If this is not possible, we kindly ask that you refrain from applying.
Experience working in a kitchen, commercial kitchen, restaurant, or school is a merit. We particularly welcome experience cooking vegetarian food at high pace for large groups. Most importantly, you are responsible, thorough, and willing to help where needed.

Employment Terms
Hourly position with work hours as needed.
Salary according to collective agreement.
