Your Assignment
The kitchen currently consists of 1 kitchen manager, 3 cooks, and 5 food service assistants. In your role as a temporary cook or food service assistant, you will perform typical tasks in a large-scale kitchen when regular staff is absent. Together with your team, you ensure that lunch and snacks are served to approximately 1,150 students in grades F-9, and you share collective responsibility for creating a pleasant meal experience for students and contributing to the kitchen's daily operations. You will prepare fresh vegetables, receive and unload deliveries, wash dishes, set up and serve lunch, refill items during mealtime, and clean and maintain the kitchen. You will also participate in serving snacks.
As a temporary hourly employee, you need to be able to step in on short notice, whether for part of a day, a full day, or longer periods.
Your Experience
For the food service assistant position, you must have:
Completed primary school education
Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish
For the cook position, you must have:
Relevant cooking education
HACCP experience from recent years
Good digital skills
Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish
