We are seeking engaged and responsible substitute teachers for our elementary schools in Boxholm and Åsbo. As a substitute teacher, you become an important part of the students' school day and have the opportunity to contribute to learning, safety, and community.
This work suits you if you enjoy meeting people, like varying work days, and want to make a difference for children and young people.
Job Responsibilities
As a substitute teacher, you support regular staff in daily activities. Your responsibilities may include:
Substituting for teachers during short absences and following planned instruction
Supporting students in their learning and development
Supervising students during breaks
Qualifications
Requirements:
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Class B driver's license and access to your own car, as Åsbo school is located outside central Boxholm
Meritorious:
Experience working in school or other pedagogical activities
Experience leading or being responsible for groups of children, for example in sports activities or community organizations
Personal Qualities
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and young people and who is a trusted adult in school. You are flexible, take responsibility, and collaborate easily with both students and colleagues. You contribute with a positive attitude and help where needed.
Work in school requires presentation of a valid criminal records check before employment can begin.
