The Education Department in Järfälla Municipality employs approximately 3,100 staff members across our 39 preschools, 22 schools, upper secondary school, adult education, and central administration. The school has approximately 620 students from preschool class through grade 6, and we also have an adapted primary school with approximately 30 students in grades 1-6. 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a substitute childcare worker, you will work with student groups and serve as a replacement when regular staff are absent. The unit's needs entirely determine how much work you will receive, and we therefore cannot guarantee you work every day. Since our facilities are largely closed during summer, we primarily need staff during school terms. You should live within a reasonable distance from Järfälla to be able to reach the workplaces within a reasonable time. The activities should be fun, safe, and educational for all students. As a childcare worker, you work to create a safe and secure environment that encourages students to play and learn. In collaboration with the team, you implement the educational activities. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: We are looking for someone who is calm and composed in your interactions with students. We expect you to be engaged and active in working with students both in the classroom and during breaks and leisure time. You must enjoy and see it as a challenge to work at new workplaces and collaborate with new colleagues. Since the position requires the ability to quickly contribute to effective work, you must be able to work independently and take initiative. The work requires good social skills and you should be comfortable working outdoors for parts of the day. Since our staff work Monday-Friday on schedule with working hours between 06:30-17:30, we are looking for someone who can work during these times. You must have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing. Meritorious: • Trained childcare worker or experience with pedagogical work in school or preschool. • Experience working with students with special needs We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
