Each unit monitors and evaluates its operations, conducts a results analysis, and formulates development measures. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a substitute, you are an important part of the daily work in our preschools and schools. You replace regular staff during short-term absences, often on short notice. The role involves being active in learning and social development and participating in outdoor activities, regardless of weather. In preschool (ages 1-5), you contribute by: • Supporting children in play, group activities, and planned activities • Assisting with meals, diaper changes, and bathroom visits In school (preschool class–grade 9), you contribute by: • Leading lessons and following the curriculum plan • Supporting after-school programs for younger students We make each other better by: • Collaborating and leveraging each other's competencies • Creating an inclusive and safe environment • Being flexible and solution-focused QUALIFICATIONS Working as a substitute requires the ability to quickly adapt to new environments and create a sense of security for children and students. It requires good collaboration skills, flexibility, and the ability to take responsibility. Being able to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and be attentive in interactions with children, students, and colleagues is essential. To thrive in the role, you need to be present, have a respectful approach, and contribute to a positive learning environment where both teaching and social development are in focus. The assignment requires: • High school diploma with passing grades in Swedish, English, and mathematics or equivalent • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • Availability for work throughout the municipality We welcome experience working with or leading children or young people, for example through internships, volunteer work, or previous employment. Pedagogical education and teacher or preschool teacher certification are also assets. A driver's license and access to a car facilitate the work. Before employment can begin, you must provide a valid extract from the criminal record for work in schools and preschools.
