WORK TASKS
As an hourly-paid substitute, you work where there is a need for the day. Assignments vary depending on the activity, ages, and your skills.
The work can include, for example:
• leading or supporting instruction in class or smaller groups
• working in after-school centers with activities, safety, and social development
• supporting children in preschool's educational activities, play, and routines
• helping individual children or student groups during the day
• participating in recess activities, meals, and outdoor time
• contributing to safety, structure, and a productive working environment in the activity
No two days are alike, and it is precisely this variation that makes the job both developmental and fun.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children and youth and wants to contribute to a safe, educational, and positive everyday experience in our activities.
Education in child and leisure programs, teacher education, preschool teacher education, or other relevant education is meritorious, as is experience working in preschool, after-school centers, or school. You are also warmly welcome to apply if you are a qualified or unqualified teacher, study within pedagogy, or have other experience working with children and youth.
But what is most important to us is that you:
• have good conduct and create safe relationships
• are responsible, flexible, and collaboration-oriented
• can adapt to different activities and situations
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• are at least 18 years old
• can show up with short notice when needed
• Experience from preschool, after-school centers, elementary school, or adapted elementary school is meritorious.
Please attach grades, diplomas, childcare education certificates, preschool teacher certification, and/or teacher certification if you have them.
Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 3–6 months, start date: 2026-08-17.
