About the workplace Ersta diakoni operates ten elderly care homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. For those who move in with us, we want to enable them to continue living their lives based on their habits, needs, and preferences. We work person-centered and aim to create a safe and fulfilling daily life with community, activities, and meals as an important part. For us, care is part of our competence. It's about providing safe and professional care, but also about being attentive to the person you meet and what matters to them specifically. Sarahemmet is a care and residential home with 54 places in Älta in Nacka. We have four dementia-focused units and two with somatic focus. The home is located close to nature and has a green garden. About the role As a temporary staff member with us, you work together with your colleagues to create a safe and meaningful daily life for our residents. The workday is planned based on each person's individual needs, habits, and preferences. The work includes personal care, meals, activities, and social interaction. We work person-centered and with contact persons as an important part of creating continuity and security. We are now seeking several temporary staff members who want to work extra and fill in during sick leave and other temporary needs. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts. Who are you? We are looking for someone who enjoys working close to people and who meets both residents and colleagues with care and respect. You are confident and take responsibility and understand the importance of being attentive to each person's individual needs and preferences. You collaborate well with others, communicate clearly, and contribute to a good work environment. You are also thorough and take responsibility for ensuring that work is carried out in a safe and professional manner. Your experience We are looking for someone who has: previous experience in elderly care good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing good digital skills We view it positively if you are a certified nursing assistant, but it is not required.
