About the Workplace Ersta Diakoni elderly care homes are part of Ersta Diakoni and operate nine elderly care facilities in Stockholm and Uppsala. Juliahemmet is a care and support residence with 69 apartments located in Ultuna, Uppsala, for individuals with somatic and dementia illnesses. About the Role As a care assistant, you will work closely with residents and collaborate with their families, colleagues, and managers. Together, you will plan each day based on each person's needs and wishes. An important part of the work is creating safety, community, and a meaningful everyday life. We work with a person-centered approach and place great emphasis on activities, care-provided meals, and primary contact relationships. We are looking for someone who wants to work on a temporary basis and step in for sick leave or other temporary needs, including days, evenings, and weekends. Who Are You? We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to make a difference in their daily lives. You are confident, responsible, and work well with others. You are also thorough and contribute to good interactions, both with residents and colleagues. Your Experience We are looking for someone with: previous experience in elderly care good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written good computer skills We view it positively if you are a trained care assistant, but it is not a requirement.
