JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want a job that makes a difference every day? We are looking for temporary support assistants for our LSS housing in Årjängs kommun. Working as a support assistant is a responsible and rewarding job where you contribute daily to quality of life, independence and security for other people. You become an important part of the residents' everyday lives and at the same time have the opportunity for personal development and work that gives much back. In Årjängs kommun there are three LSS housing facilities where 5-9 adults live in their own apartments with access to support based on their individual needs. As a support assistant you work closely with the residents and support them in all aspects of daily life, always with a focus on participation, respect and self-determination. Job duties may include: Support with personal care such as personal hygiene, dressing and undressing and transfers Help with daily chores such as cooking, laundry and cleaning Support for leisure activities and social contacts Delegated HSL services, for example medication management and insulin administration (if applicable) Working hours are variable and may include day shifts, evening shifts, on-call duty and weekends. QUALIFICATIONS You have completed or are currently completing education as a support assistant, health and care program or child and leisure program, or alternatively other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. We would like to see that you have previous experience working with people. It is important that you have good computer skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish to be able to document in the Life Care management system. The formal requirements are important to us but it is also important who you are as a person. To be able to work and thrive with us you need to be secure and able to take responsibility. You are a calm and stable person who can set boundaries. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Valid B driver's license (manual). Extract from the police criminal record is required Salary form: Hourly wage. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-09-28 Or by agreement.
