Marielund LSS Tyringe We are a residential facility with four places that provides care for children and young people between 12-17 years old with autism and intellectual disabilities. The target group often exhibits challenging and disruptive behavior. The facility operates with one-on-one staffing, which means the young people have access to dedicated personnel during the day. The facility works based on a low-arousal approach and clear pedagogical methods. Job Description and Qualifications We are now seeking temporary support staff to assist as needed. To thrive with us, you need to have a genuine interest in people, be creative, curious, and have the ability to take personal responsibility. You will work with an engaged team with plenty of humor! Your task is to support, engage, and guide children and young people in their daily lives. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and documenting interventions. You should contribute to creating a meaningful and safe environment where activities are shaped according to each individual's specific strengths, interests, and needs. Care work is a significant part of the job. You need to have experience working with people with autism and intellectual disabilities. You need to be comfortable working with individuals who display challenging and disruptive behavior. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. You will be supporting young people with disabilities who show high sensitivity and therefore require your attentiveness to their needs in order to thrive. You should thus have a low-arousal approach and understand the importance of clear pedagogical methods. The work involves considerable autonomy, so you must have the ability to take own initiatives, take responsibility, and enjoy collaborating with others. As a temporary support assistant, you need to have a professional qualification from a care and nursing program, children's and leisure program, or other equivalent education that the employer deems equivalent. The work involves medication delegation from a nurse. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights with both awake night shifts and on-call sleep duty. It is therefore a requirement that you can work irregular hours. A collective agreement applies.
