Temporary Care Assistant for 17-Year-Old Girl

We are seeking female temporary care assistants for our client, a 17-year-old cheerful and lively girl with Cerebral Palsy. In her free time, she enjoys going out for coffee, swimming, and taking various outings. She has extensive mobility difficulties and therefore requires several assistive devices such as ceiling lifts, standing aids, specially adapted chairs, and various communication aids. As an assistant, you will receive thorough on-the-job training to learn how to use these. As an assistant, you will be her support in the activities she enjoys doing, both at home and outside the home. You will also accompany her on outings and visits to, for example, rehabilitation, orthopedic technology, and assistive device centers. It is important that you are a positive, secure, calm person who is solution-focused and driven. We are looking for someone who can work various shifts: day, evening, and night watch during regular staff illness or other absences. The client requires dual assistance around the clock. It is important that you have a driver's license and a car, as this is needed to get to where the client lives and to drive the client in her adapted car (automatic) to medical appointments and leisure activities. You will receive on-the-job training before you start working independently. Your employment as a temporary care assistant may provide the opportunity for a part-time position.
