What does the job as a nursing assistant at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?
A nursing assistant at Norlandia is a valuable key person, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in their professional role and enjoys meeting people in different situations. Together as a team with nurses, rehabilitation staff, and management, we collaborate around the resident to provide a good life every day.
We are looking for you with a genuine interest in elderly people, where your main responsibilities are to provide safe and secure personal care and support. You support residents in their lives and create conditions for a safe and meaningful daily life. As a nursing assistant, you are responsible for providing residents with good quality care and support in accordance with what has been agreed upon with the resident in the care plan.
This includes, among other things:
• Work as a contact person based on Norlandia's "My Day" concept.
• Personal care and support and utilizing residents' own resources.
• Work based on Norlandia's "Tasty Meal" concept so that our residents appreciate the food and the dining experience adds joy to everyday life.
• Document according to the Social Services Act; maintain social records and establish and follow up on care plans.
• Plan, offer, and implement daily activities, outdoor time, entertainment, crafts, cultural activities, etc., both individual and group activities.
• Perform service tasks such as apartment cleaning, laundry, escort services, shopping, and more.
• Receive and carry out delegated tasks such as medication administration.
• Take responsibility in ombudsman roles.
• Actively participate in the facility's quality and improvement work.
About Landeryd Residential Care Facility
Landeryd has 48 apartments distributed across four units – two somatic units, one with a focus on dementia and one with a focus on BPSD.

• You need to have proof of the right to use the professional title nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare.
• It is an advantage if you have previous experience in care and support.
• You need good skills in documentation.
• You must have good command of Swedish in both speech and writing.
• We would like you to have good computer skills/computer experience.
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations.

Employment Type: Temporary/hourly position
Start Date: By agreement
We apply individual salary determination and have collective agreements. Interviews are ongoing and the position may be filled before the final application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to provide an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to demonstrate that you have the right to work in Sweden by providing proof of EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit.
