About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (the Act on Support and Services for Certain Persons with Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in everyday life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and helps ensure that daily life runs smoothly. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work may include, for example, help with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household chores and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and takes responsibility. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "temp employment," which means work as needed. Working hours are scheduled on 24-hour shifts from 7:00-7:00, with approximately 6.5 hours of waiting time during the night. Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date by agreement. Before the position begins, you will complete a paid introduction/orientation. During the orientation period, you will receive a fixed-term temp employment agreement with a set end date.
