About the Job Do you want to make a difference for people living in housing with special services? Then this job might be for you! Intraprenaden Trissen currently consists of three different residential operations located in western Gothenburg. The people you will work with all have varying needs for individually adapted support in their daily lives due to intellectual disabilities. We are now looking for new colleagues who can work as temporary staff as needed. As a temporary worker, you will be available for all operations within the intraprenaden (unit). You will start with on-the-job training with experienced personnel across all operations. The target group we work with is predominantly at a relatively high functional level and has limited need for daily support. Much of the support provided is given through verbal support, motivational conversations, and helping people follow routines and structures that work for the individual in their daily life. We place great emphasis on the fact that every person is unique and has their own wishes and needs. Therefore, we have a very comprehensive working approach designed to meet each individual service user's needs. Our guiding principles are good interactions based on attentiveness and respect for the individual. All social documentation takes place in the TRESERVA documentation system. Qualifications We require that you are trained or are training in the healthcare and social care program, children and leisure program, support assistant at adult education, or have equivalent or ongoing education that the employer deems equivalent, as well as personal suitability. You must be at least 18 years old in accordance with regulations on working conditions for minors AFS 20232 6 chapter, 5, 6, and 8. To be able to maintain documentation, you need to have a good command of Swedish in speech and writing, which means a requirement for passing grades in Swedish 1, Swedish as a Second Language 1, or equivalent. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered a language test through the test provider Educateit. Experience in care work, neuropsychiatry, and motivational conversations is considered a merit. If you are interested in working as a summer replacement during the coming summer, that is also to your advantage. Likewise, if you are available for work during other vacation periods, such as Christmas and New Year. You are friendly and helpful to others even in stressful situations and show respect for everyone you meet at work. You are attentive and open to understanding other people's needs, feelings, and opinions. You are receptive to what others say or express and show respect, consideration, and care in your interactions. You are calm and secure in pressured and difficult situations. You can balance the demands placed on you and can make well-founded decisions despite time pressure. You take responsibility for your own and the group's work tasks.
