Welcome to us
Enskede Årsta Vantör Group Homes and Service Housing for People with Disabilities consists of 16 units. The units are home to adults with disabilities living in their own apartments with the opportunity for social interaction in shared spaces. Our mission is to offer support and services based on each individual's needs and wishes, and we actively work to promote equality and full participation in community life for our users. The work is characterized by a pedagogical approach, a structured method of working, and a calm and respectful manner toward both users and colleagues.
We're now looking for temporary staff who want to work extra at a group home or service housing. We work on rotating schedules with shifts covering day, evening, night, and weekends.
Your Role
The work involves supporting, motivating, interpreting, and clarifying everyday life for the users, as well as providing care and services based on each user's individual needs. The work also includes collaboration with the user's network.
Good physical fitness and endurance are essential requirements for the role to be able to support users according to their needs.
Your Competence and Experience
We're looking for someone who has:
Relevant education
Knowledge of and practical experience with people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and intellectual disabilities (ID)
Experience working with obsessive-compulsive disorder and/or aggressive behavior and/or self-injurious behavior
The ability to handle difficult situations that require you to interact with people displaying challenging behaviors in a calm manner.
It's also an advantage if you have completed training in Studio III.
We're looking for someone who is a confident and stable person with self-awareness. You have the ability to plan and prioritize in your daily work. You are humble, unpretentious, and collaborate well with others. You express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and have basic computer skills.

Enskede Årsta Vantör is one of 11 district administrations in Stockholm City. As part of Stockholm City, the administration provides preschool and youth activities, care for the elderly and people with disabilities, social services, preventive and safety-creating work, urban development, and park maintenance to our 106,000 residents in the district area. We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are being built. Approximately 20,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.
To work for Stockholm City with elderly and people with disabilities in their homes, you must show a criminal record certificate. The certificate should not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
