As a substitute teacher, you'll be in the middle of the operation where it's expected that you are flexible and can quickly learn different routines. The school's first lesson starts around 8:00 AM, which requires that you need to be reachable from approximately 06:30. Adapted Primary School is a separate school form for children and young people with intellectual disabilities. The activities are adapted according to each student's circumstances, but are based on the curriculum for adapted primary school. Students receive their instruction in smaller classes at one of our four schools or integrated into a regular primary school class. In Härryda Municipality, there are four adapted primary schools, two in Mölnlycke and two in Landvetter. Adapted Primary School should provide students with intellectual disabilities an education adapted to each student's circumstances and which, as far as possible, corresponds to that provided in primary school. It is important to work with a low-arousal approach to care. We're looking for you who want to work at an adapted primary school in Härryda Municipality now through fall 2026. As a person, you are empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with children. You are also flexible and can inspire and engage students. Qualifications: Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both oral and written Good computer skills Certificate from the Police Criminal Records Register called "inspection of own records" and Certificate for work in school or preschool High school diploma Can work at least 4-5 full days per week, Monday-Friday Be reachable from 06:30 in the morning Meritorious Experience working with children with disabilities Have worked with low-arousal approach to care Relevant education for the profession Relevant experience in the profession Several years of work experience Experience working with people with disabilities We place great emphasis on approach and personal suitability.
