We are now seeking you to work as a temporary caregiver in disability support group homes, service apartments, and personal assistance. Within Disability Support, there are group homes and service apartments, personal assistance, day activities, and short-term housing for children and young people. The group home consists of five apartments. You work closely with your colleagues, your unit manager, and other cooperation partners. We also collaborate with other activities within the operational area. This job suits you if you are interested in, among other things, intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health issues, and want a social work role where you help other people in their everyday lives. Our various activities are located in Frövi, Vedevåg, Lindesberg, Gusselby, and Guldsmedshyttan. WORK TASKS The work tasks involve supporting individuals in their everyday life with, for example, leisure activities, social contacts, cleaning, cooking, and personal care. Since we tailor our approach to each individual's needs, the work tasks can range from supporting individuals to perform parts or all of the work tasks themselves to you as staff practically performing parts of or all of the work tasks. The need for care differs between group homes and service apartments. As a personal assistant, you support an individual in their home. We offer you, as a new employee, an introduction where you can work alongside experienced colleagues to become confident in your role. You will work in a rewarding and stimulating work environment where the focus is on helping the individual with varying tasks based on their needs. The work is scheduled and includes daytime, evenings, weekends, and possible on-call duty or night work. We strive to offer you a schedule based on your preferences and how much you want to work. QUALIFICATIONS You are 18 years or older and interested in working with people. It is desirable that you are trained in a people-centered profession or have started such training, for example as a nursing assistant, caregiver, or childcare provider. Experience working in activities for people with intellectual, physical, or mental disabilities is an advantage. As a person, we want you to focus on the individual and have an easy time collaborating. You must have a good command of Swedish so that you can communicate with residents, relatives, and other staff, as well as document what the activity requires. We would like to see that you have a B driving license for manual transmission, as most of our activities require this. If you become a candidate for employment, you will need to provide an extract from the criminal record: "Extract for work with children with disabilities". A driving license is highly advantageous.
