About Unika in Northern Stockholm We are seeking hourly substitute staff for our LSS activities in Northern Stockholm with placements in Rotebro, Sigtuna, and Åkersberga. As an hourly substitute, you can work in one or several of our facilities based on operational needs and your availability. Our activities are conducted according to LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) and are directed toward individuals with various disabilities and individual support needs. As a staff member, you provide support in daily life based on each individual's circumstances and implementation plan. Work tasks may include educational support, social support, communication, documentation, certain care assistance, and motivating interventions to create a safe, meaningful, and independent everyday life. Our facilities differ in terms of target groups, work methods, and support needs. This means that tasks and challenges vary between facilities, and certain work activities occur at some units but not others. Common to all facilities is that we work with professional conduct, a salutogenic approach, clear pedagogy, and low-affect interaction with the individual's needs in focus. About the Role of Residential Support Worker As a residential support worker, you will work to provide a safe, meaningful, and predictable everyday life for the individuals living with us. The work is based on each individual's needs, implementation plan, and circumstances, with the goal of strengthening independence, participation, and quality of life. We work goal-oriented according to our mission and maintain a professional and salutogenic approach. Our work is characterized by low-affect interaction, clear pedagogy, and close collaboration with colleagues and other professionals. As an hourly substitute, you will have the opportunity to work in one or several of our facilities within the geographic area based on operational needs and your availability. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive manner, and you enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see individuals' needs. Since our facilities differ, we seek someone who is flexible and confident in meeting different individuals and work situations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements • Very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. • Good computer skills and experience with documentation. • Experience with or knowledge of the LSS target group. • Upper secondary education, such as child and leisure program or healthcare and care program, alternatively post-secondary education such as support educator, social pedagogue, or other relevant education. Meritorious • Experience in psychiatry. • Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). • Experience with low-affect interaction. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Terms Employment form: Hourly employment as needed. Degree of service: As needed. Working hours: Rotating schedule including day shifts, evening shifts, weekends, and overnight shifts may occur. Start date: According to agreement.
