We are now looking for care assistants and nursing assistants who can work as temporary staff at Stortorp Elderly Care Center. Stortorp is a large elderly residence with 176 apartments, divided into two buildings. It is located in a scenic park area beautifully situated on the waterfront of Lake Drevviken in Trångsund. The residence consists of assisted living, short-term care, and respite care, and has spaces for both persons with somatic illness and dementia. It is easy to get here by car and bus. Bus from Farsta Center or Trångsund commuter train station stops just outside the building. If you come by car, there are also parking spaces. The duties include meeting the individual needs of our residents for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and included in their care. The assignment also includes medication handling after delegation from a nurse. The position is a temporary employment (hourly position) with service according to the facility's needs. You are offered work shifts based on your availability, which you can accept or decline through our staffing system. Your Profile To be eligible for work, you need to be available at least three days per week and be able to work varying hours that may occur during day and evening, both weekdays and weekends. We are also looking for night staff. The work requires high demands for flexibility and you need to be available on short notice. We would like you to be able to start immediately. You who are applying for the position have experience working in elderly care, preferably from work in an elderly residence. It is particularly meritorious if you are a trained nursing assistant and have work experience with dementia and medication delegation. The work requires initiative, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. You need to be confident and comfortable working with people who have great need for continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for you who have a professional approach characterized by a good view of people and good conduct. You have good command of Swedish language, both spoken and written.
