We are seeking substitute care workers for our LSS residential homes Trollbacken and Humleåsen in central Gnosjö. As a substitute care worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in people's daily lives by providing support, creating security, and contributing to improved quality of life for our users. The work suits you if you are flexible, responsible, and enjoy working closely with people.
Your work will include:
Providing support and guidance in daily living.
Assisting users with personal care and hygiene according to individual needs.
Helping with meals, shopping, cleaning, laundry, and other household tasks.
Motivating and supporting users in social activities, leisure activities, and community participation.
Working to create security, structure, and predictability in everyday life.
Handling documentation according to applicable legislation and workplace procedures.
Collaborating with colleagues, family members, healthcare, and other partners.
Performing delegated healthcare tasks after training and authorization.
Contributing to professional conduct and good cooperation within the work team.
We are looking for someone who is responsible, flexible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You can build trusting relationships and have a respectful approach where the individual's self-determination and integrity are always in focus.
As a substitute care worker, you need to be able to work on short notice and adapt to different situations and users' needs. You will be an important part of creating continuity, security, and good quality in our operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is an advantage if you have:
Education from healthcare and care programs, child and leisure programs, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
Experience working in LSS operations, healthcare and care, or other work with people in need of support.
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as documentation is part of the duties.
Basic computer skills.
Category B driver's license
Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, autism, or other neuropsychiatric disabilities.
Experience with social documentation and working according to implementation plans.
Experience with medication management delegation or delegated healthcare tasks.
Personal qualities
To thrive in the role, you are confident, responsible, and flexible. You have a positive approach, good collaboration skills, and can adapt your working methods to the individual's needs.

Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date 2026-09-01.
Work schedule: Shift work. We work daytime, evening, weekends, and on-call shifts.
