About Läkarvägen Läkarvägen is a newly built, modern group home with 6 places in a quiet area on the outskirts of Säter. Läkarvägen offers lake views and features nature and walking trails nearby. The facility is located approximately 1.7 km from Säter town center. A few hundred meters from the facility is the nearest bus stop. Läkarvägen has approximately 20 employees in various employment arrangements. Our staff have experience and expertise in working with our target group. They hold relevant qualifications in social care, such as nursing programs, vocational care education, or social work degrees. At Läkarvägen, we practice hands-on leadership. We have a group leader who works daytime hours and an operations manager divided between two homes in Dalarna. About the Role As a residential support worker at Läkarvägen, you tailor your support to each resident's individual needs and wishes, providing assistance in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff, you work toward making each day meaningful and enriching. You provide support and guidance in personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is stimulating and motivating residents to develop their abilities and creating opportunities for active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documentation and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are 07:30 - 21:45 on weekdays and weekends, plus overnight shifts with sleeping on-call (07:30 - 08:00 the following morning). Awake nights are 21:00-08:30. During awake nights, your task is to watch over a resident in their apartment and be available when needed during the night. We are looking for someone comfortable working both day and night shifts. Your Experience and Knowledge You have a secondary education in healthcare and care or equivalent qualification, such as childcare training, care assistant certification, or social or educational support qualifications. You must be able to present your nursing assistant certificate or other relevant qualification at the employment interview. You have strong Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is advantageous if you have experience working with our target group and have worked several years in care. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities to grow. You have a positive outlook, strong commitment to people, and a sense of responsibility.
