Jämtlands Gymnasieförbund is responsible for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, and parts of adult education in our member municipalities. The federation's eight schools are located in nature and mountain-proximity environments spread across six municipalities – Berg, Bräcke, Krokom, Ragunda, Åre, and Östersund.
Jämtlands Gymnasium and Vux Bispgården is located in an exciting hub for the region's industries. Description
We are seeking a substitute teacher for Jämtlands Gymnasium and Vux Bispgården. As a substitute teacher, you work as needed and receive varied assignments where you can replace absent teachers, work as a student resource, or serve as an extra resource in the school's operations.
Work is performed on an hourly basis as needed, with a start date according to agreement.
Your Future Tasks
You will be part of the teaching team at the upper secondary school, which offers education in vehicle and transportation programs, industrial technology programs, and introductory programs.
Your assignment varies based on the school's needs. You may lead lessons based on teaching plans from absent teachers, support teachers in various activities, or be on-site at the school as an extra resource where needed each day. You may also work as a student resource.
Substitute teachers may also be needed in our adult education programs in health and care, industrial technology, and SFI.

We are looking for someone with experience working in schools. We would prefer candidates with experience from upper secondary school, vehicle and transportation programs, industrial technology programs, introductory programs, or work as a student resource.
You have great dedication and want to develop together with both students and colleagues. You are flexible, patient, attentive, and responsive with a clear focus on students. It is important to you to meet, support, and help students progress in their studies based on their knowledge, abilities, and needs.
You are curious and willing to try different approaches so students can succeed. You enjoy variety and appreciate challenges.
