The Social Services Department is responsible for child and family services, elderly care, and care for people with disabilities. Our mission is to recruit temporary caregivers for Regular Housing who can cover short-term absences due to illness, vacation, or training. We are currently looking for care assistants and nursing assistants who can work as temporary caregivers for home care services. Our home care services are spread throughout Huddinge, with offices in central Huddinge, Flemingsberg, Vårby, Stuvsta, Trångsund, and Skogås. We are also recruiting staff for the Night Patrol and Alarm Response team, which responds to safety alarms within Huddinge Municipality. We also have two day activity centers for people with dementia in Stuvsta and Trångsund. The days are filled with singing, music, cooking together, and walks, among other activities. Your Profile To be eligible for the position, you need to be available immediately and able to work at least three days per week. It is an advantage if you can work shifts during peak times, typically during the summer period but may also be needed at other times of the year. We have operations that are open every day of the year. Therefore, you need to be able to work varying hours, which can occur during day and evening shifts, both weekdays and weekends. Because you work at different times of the day, particularly high demands are placed on flexibility. You who apply for this position should have experience working in care and support. It is particularly advantageous if you are trained as a nursing assistant and hold the nursing assistant title from the National Board of Health and Welfare, as well as experience in home care. It is advantageous if you have a B driving license and can cycle. The work places high demands on initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving. You need to be confident and comfortable working with people who have significant need for continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for someone with a professional approach characterized by good human values and respectful treatment. You need to understand other people's needs and feelings in care tasks with our residents, as well as in the work team. You speak Swedish well, both verbally and in writing.
