Our teaching focuses on language and communication. We provide instruction for students from preschool class through grade 10. The goal is for students to gain the skills to achieve educational objectives, participate and be active in various social contexts, and develop as individuals. We offer accommodations for students who cannot commute to school daily. We work with dedication to make equal value for all a reality. Teaching is based on the special school regulations according to primary or adapted primary school curricula. Then you are someone we would like to meet. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a substitute teacher, you may work in various areas at Hällsboskolan from preschool class through grade 10. For example, there may be a need for substitutes as student assistants, teachers, after-school personnel or residential staff. You are thus available when needs arise with short notice. Being available in this way means that a new employment relationship begins each time you are called upon for work. Offers of such temporary employment are usually made verbally. You of course have the right to decline assignments offered to you. You document when relevant in the activities you have been responsible for during the day and provide feedback to the regular teacher. You participate in creating a safe learning environment. You adapt and shape your work in accordance with information provided by regular staff. You cooperate with colleagues when support is needed. You work closely with colleagues and actively participate in the school's contacts with the wider community. You contribute to the school's development. This position is hourly employment. This position is a substitute role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with experience working as a student assistant and in resource functions in school activities. You express yourself well in speech and writing. It is a merit if you have: • experience working with children with language disorders • experience working with children in need of special support • experience working with children with neuropsychiatric disabilities • experience working as a teacher • experience working as a recreation educator • experience working as a student assistant • Pedagogical education such as teacher, recreation educator, children and recreation program. Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Experience using IT and media in activities. Personal qualities: You are flexible in your approach, solution-oriented and experienced in working collaboratively in teams with groups of children. Your approach to students is characterized by a calm, low-affect manner. You work individually and with others to create a safe and trusting environment based on mutual respect and good relationships. You have personal maturity, integrity and are proactive. You have good communication and collaboration skills. We place great importance on personal suitability. Employment type: Temporary employment.
