Temporary Staff for Group Homes in Arby

We are seeking 1-2 temporary staff members for our two group homes, Kastanjen and Brovillan, located in the beautiful natural surroundings of Arby. The operations comprise 2 group homes with a total of nine apartments. Our work involves providing customized support with a focus on safety, participation, and quality of life. The work is conducted based on an anthroposophic view of human beings and a sociotherapeutic care methodology, which means that employment with us requires openness to these ideas. The residence is located in a calm, nature-oriented environment in Arby, with proximity to both the local community and city life in Kalmar. Our goal is to offer residents a safe home, a foundation for a meaningful life, and the opportunity for personal development. The operations are characterized by participation, independence, and equality within a sociotherapeutic community, continuity and safety in the social environment, and care and housing in an aesthetically pleasing environment with a consciously designed daily, weekly, and yearly rhythm. As a residential support worker, you plan and carry out your work in accordance with the basic principles of LSS (Lag om stöd och service till vissa personer med funktionsnedsättning), where the individual's right to privacy and self-determination are central. You should work toward enabling residents to live as independently as possible and experience life as meaningful. The work requires that you are empathetic and attentive to the resident's perspective, flexible in your approach based on the individual's daily capacity and abilities, and reflective in order to continuously develop in your professional role. Common work tasks include assistance with personal ADL (activities of daily living), household chores and communal activities, planning and conducting leisure activities, and support with contacts to authorities and health and medical services. You are also responsible for social documentation in accordance with applicable legislation and work according to the organization's procedures. The operation is staffed 24/7, which means work shifts may be scheduled for day, evening, weekend, and night hours, and on-site on-call night duty is included. For a permanent position, you need training in care work, such as nursing assistant or equivalent, social work, or pedagogy. Relevant professional experience and personal suitability are also considered.
