Arboga Municipality and the Department of Children and Education are in need of temporary substitute staff within primary school to cover short-term absences of regular personnel. Arboga Municipality has six primary schools.
Job Duties
At school you will work either as a substitute teacher, providing extra support to students, or at the afterschool program. As a substitute teacher you can work independently in a class and there is a curriculum to support you. You will also work on helping students reach their learning goals and create the best possible study environment. As extra support, you work alongside the teacher in class, and at the afterschool program you work as part of a team before and after school hours.
You will work through the Staffing Unit and continuously input your availability in the Time Care Pool system to show when you can work. You will be booked for work shifts via SMS and must be able to report to your workplace within a maximum of 45 minutes from when the SMS booking is sent to you.
Qualifications
You have secondary school qualifications, are trained as a childcare worker, or have previous experience working in a school environment, preferably as a teacher student or considering studying to become a teacher. We prefer that you have experience working with children, but it is not a requirement. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Approved SFI level D.

In our operations, the law on criminal record checks (2000:873) applies. To work as a temporary substitute, you must provide a valid extract from the criminal record register. This can be ordered digitally via School or Preschool, e-service at the Police Authority and must apply to work in preschool and school settings.
