Right now, Stenungsunds Municipality is seeking substitute teachers for preschools, primary schools, and after-school programs. Here you make an important contribution to help children and students develop, learn, and grow according to their own abilities. You decide when you want to work by making yourself available on the days and times you wish to work through a program called Time Care Pool. In the program, you also have the opportunity to see which shifts are available ahead and indicate your interest in these. As a substitute teacher, you may be booked at short notice on the same day to replace regular staff. No two days are the same, which makes the job both challenging and developmental. The facility's opening hours are weekdays 06.00-18.00. Education in preschool shall offer children safe care and build children's sense of security and self-esteem. In preschool, we work with the youngest children between 1-5 years old. In primary school and after-school programs, we work with children between 6-16 years old. You may work with: • Teach your own lessons or support regular teachers during class time • Assist with indoor and outdoor activities • Help and support children in their development according to the curriculum • Manage the after-school program together with regular staff; you may be solely responsible for part of the day • You gain valuable work experience and a unique insight into various operations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Can work at short notice. • Master the Swedish language in speech and writing; communication is one of our most important work tools. • You are expected to have good conduct with both children, students, guardians, and colleagues. Desirable: • Education within the field. • Work experience in preschool/school. • Work as a substitute teacher consists of many interactions where you are expected to be a responsible adult and take your own initiative.
