Description As a substitute teacher at Brålanda and Skerrund schools, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our students' development when our regular staff are absent. Our operations include after-school programs, preschool classes, and elementary school grades 1-6. The job involves being contacted on short notice to replace regular staff when they are absent. You will receive requests based on the availability you have indicated in relation to the needs that arise at our schools. Job Responsibilities In elementary school, you will support both teachers and students throughout the school day. You may also have the opportunity to serve as a substitute teacher and instruct our students using textbooks and support from other teachers. You can also be assigned as a resource person in a classroom. As a substitute teacher with us, your assignment may vary depending on which unit you work at, but regular staff will always be present for support. With established routines and pre-planned lessons as a foundation, we provide you with the best possible conditions regardless of which assignment you undertake. Qualifications To be considered as a substitute teacher at Brålanda and Skerrund schools, you need: A valid upper secondary school diploma, which you must attach to your application. If you have a foreign upper secondary school diploma, you must attach an assessment from UHR and provide documentation of completed studies in Swedish 3 or Swedish as a Second Language 3. Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written. The ability to work at least two days per week and to work at both schools. A valid extract from the Police's criminal record check, specific to work in schools and preschools. We are looking for someone who enjoys meeting new people, is flexible and open to new challenges. You should have good collaboration skills and above all a willingness to fulfill a very important function for our students! No one expects you to know everything, but as a substitute you must be attentive, willing to take initiative, and able to follow instructions.
