We are now looking for a Personal Assistant for a wonderful 7-year-old boy with autism and epilepsy living south of Stockholm. He needs support in his daily life to develop and thrive. We are looking for someone with a big heart, positive energy, and a desire to make a difference. We need someone who is confident and can handle stressful situations and act quickly. You need to be focused, attentive, and have good reaction time. About the position: As a personal assistant, you will be a support and source of security for the boy in his daily life. Your work tasks will include: Playing and engaging him in ways that stimulate and develop his abilities. Working with training various activities, such as creating routines and promoting communication. Encouraging and supporting him in activities. Working based on his needs and circumstances with a calm and positive approach. Practicing the use of visual supports and other communication aids. Assistance with showering, hygiene, and dressing. The role also includes being a calm and stable support during other moments in daily life. Your role is to create security and help the client have a meaningful and enjoyable day. We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with people with autism or intellectual disabilities (advantageous). Is attentive, responsible, positive, and engaged. Is confident and can handle stressful situations, for example during epileptic seizures (introduction and support provided). Other information Employment type: Hourly employment Working hours: Weekdays between 07:00-15:30 and 15:30-21:00. Weekends daytime: 07:30-14:00. Evening time: 14:00-21:00 Start date: By agreement.
