The Department of Individuals and Families is responsible for measures according to the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments, which include individual and family care and care for persons with disabilities. Residents in need of social services can receive advice, support and assistance. In most cases our assistance and services are provided following an individual assessment as part of our statutory responsibilities. We have the ambition that the measures we provide should lead to independence.
The operations focus on measures for children, young people and their parents, substance abuse issues, domestic violence, persons with disabilities who need support in their daily lives, persons in need of financial support, labor market measures, rehabilitation and integration.

DUTIES
As a support assistant or personal assistant you will work providing support and care to people who have various forms of functional variations and unique life situations. The work may include support and motivation in daily tasks, help and support with personal care and social contacts.
We are looking for you who are interested in working as a temporary relief employee or perhaps want to get a foot in the door for future permanent employment in care for persons with disabilities.
• We have a need for relief staff within:
- Group housing
• Residential support within social psychiatry, also at night (mobile night)
• Short-term activities for children
• Short-term supervision for young people
• Children's residential homes
• Service housing
• Personal assistance
• Daily occupation

You will meet people from different backgrounds. Our activities run around the clock: daytime, evening, weekends, night shifts and on-call duties. Working hours vary at different workplaces. Please indicate in your application what times you are available for work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in working with people. You need to be able to work independently and have a social and flexible approach. We work based on low-arousal approaches, where we strive to work in a calm and safe manner. Through good interaction and communication we create trusting relationships.
Education within care and nursing, children and leisure or other relevant education is meritorious. For certain activities, a driver's license category B is a requirement. You need good knowledge of the Swedish language to be able to communicate and document.
Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
Upon employment, an extract from the criminal record must be presented.
Salary form: Hourly wage.

Duration: 3-6 months, start: Start by agreement.
