JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Are you passionate about service and putting the guest at the center? Måltid Falkenberg operates approximately 60 kitchens, of which about 30 are full production kitchens and the rest are receiving or serving kitchens. We prepare meals for schools, preschools, high schools, and residents in our special care services. As a temporary worker, you will meet different people from day to day across various units within Måltid Falkenbergs operations. Your work could be in a large kitchen with 10 staff members preparing 1100 portions, or in a smaller single-person kitchen preparing around a dozen portions. The job offers variety and challenges. We are seeking cooks and kitchen assistants to replace regular staff when they are absent. The work involves varying schedules, both weekdays and weekends, during daytime hours. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with restaurant training at the secondary level or equivalent, along with relevant experience. You are interested in cooking, engaged, and responsible. You are flexible and deliver high quality work at a fast pace. We seek someone with a strong service mindset who can take initiative when unexpected situations arise. You are organized and self-directed. Your tasks and workplace will vary, so you need to be open to working at different locations. If applying as a cook, you need appropriate vocational training or equivalent experience. If applying as a kitchen assistant, it is beneficial to have training in food service, restaurant work, or other equivalent training. A driver's license and access to a car are advantageous. You must be able to work independently and have solid knowledge of food handling, food safety controls, and special diets. Your ability to understand and use Swedish, both spoken and written, must be very strong.
