The Learning and Culture Administration in Nybro Municipality operates preschools, preschool classes, primary schools, adapted primary school, school childcare, upper secondary school, and municipal adult education with SFI and special education for adults. Within the administration, there is education in glasscraft through Riksglasskolan in Pukeberg as well as commissioned education and vocational college education. The Learning and Culture Administration also has responsibility for libraries, cultural schools, cultural centers with cinema, youth center activities, and general cultural matters. The Learning and Culture Administration has just over 850 employees and an annual budget of approximately 580 million kronor. The administration is organized into operational areas, each led by an operations manager for preschool, primary school, upper secondary school, and adult education respectively, as well as for the cultural unit. The administration is led by an administration director who is also the school principal. Nybro Adult Education has approximately 500 students attending one of the programs we offer. We have distance education at basic and upper secondary level via NTI, SFI, and Komvux as adapted education at basic and upper secondary level. Via regional vocational adult education, we have care and elderly care education, glasscraft and design, as well as freight and passenger transport. Riksglasskolan is also included with, in addition to regional vocational adult education, a vocational college where we offer design and art glass. At adult education, we are approximately 25 employees with different competencies whose main task is to ensure that our students receive the best education possible. We work closely together and good cooperation skills are necessary. We have offices at Långgatan 13 in Nybro where we also have our reception, learning center, and most of our programs. DUTIES We at Nybro Adult Education are seeking substitute teachers for SFI who can step in and assist with teaching when there is staff shortage. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is studying to become a teacher, preferably in Swedish, or who has worked as a teacher in Swedish or SFI. Salary form: Hourly wage. Type of employment: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By arrangement, end date: 2027-06-11. Working hours: Daytime.
