As a Substitute Teacher at Ösbyskolan, you will work temporarily at our schools based on your availability and when there is a need.
Ösbyskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 680 students today. Together with the students, our wonderful team of approximately 80 dedicated employees works. Our school is characterized by both traditions as well as innovation and development. We offer you a good work environment in modern facilities. Ösbyskolan is located in Gustavsberg, Värmdö municipality with excellent and frequent connections, approximately 25 minutes travel time from Slussen.
As a substitute teacher, you will be part of a well-functioning team where different skills address students' needs throughout the day they are at school.
The assignment can involve work at the after-school program as well as teaching in the classroom, but with planning from the regular teacher.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, independent, and flexible with good organizational skills. You should have a good ability to build relationships with children, young people, and colleagues, and be fluent in Swedish both spoken and written.
Additional qualifications are that you:
preferably have a professional certificate, education, or experience working in school
have a positive view of students and assume that students can and want to learn
see collaboration as a necessity
can work at varying times depending on the assignment
are responsible

For this position, presenting a valid extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register is a requirement for employment.
The employment is a part-time position as needed; interviews and selection are ongoing.
