Supply Teacher in After-School Program and Primary School F-9

Pilträdsskolan is an independent school with approximately 325 students guided by the core values of knowledge, safety, and the unique worth of each student. The school was founded in 1994 and provides instruction in grades F-9 as well as after-school programs. Adjacent to the school is Pilträdets preschool for children ages 1-5. The school is operated by the Foundation Källan in Västerås. Located in Vallby, Pilträdsskolan is a multicultural school. We are now seeking someone to work as a supply teacher with us when regular staff are sick or on leave. You are a good role model, can work independently, and feel that you can contribute to a safe environment and encourage students in their learning. We have high standards regarding punctuality, flexibility, collaboration skills, and social competence. To work within school activities, you must provide a criminal background check from the Swedish Police. You need to be able to work both short 4-5 hour shifts and longer 8-hour shifts, so it can be beneficial to have another occupation as well. We are primarily seeking substitutes who can teach classes independently, but also those who can work as resource educators.
