HOME CARE Work Schedule: The operation has two different work shifts per day, and as needed, you will work one of these two shifts. Day 07:30-16:30 Evening 15:00-22:00 Shift Requirements: You must be available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week on an ongoing basis, and we hope you can work more than that as we strive for the highest possible continuity in our operations. Salary: Based on the operation's collective agreement (Almega) To work in this operation, it is advantageous if you: -have knowledge, experience, and interest in working with people who have various dementia diseases or mental health conditions -have worked for an extended period in home care or elderly care facilities -speak and write Swedish very well, as you will visit clients who may have difficulty understanding and speaking, and you will need to document in journals and read instructions -are social, persistent, patient, stress-resistant, self-motivated, and creative in your work approach -can handle stress and are able to plan and structure your work -are familiar with inner Stockholm, as you will navigate using public transportation or walking Please note that we place great emphasis on personal suitability, such as knowledge, interest, initiative, communication/interpersonal skills, and personality traits. Job Responsibilities You will follow a service schedule and visit clients in their own homes to provide the services they are entitled to according to their care assessment decision. The decision includes tasks such as personal hygiene and intimate care, showering, meal preparation, social interaction, cleaning, laundry, shopping, accompanying clients to various facilities, and taking walks. We focus on motivation to ensure we can carry out the services and use various work methods as tools. We have group leaders and an administrator who staff the office during daytime hours, and you can reach out to them during your daily work. Who Are We Stockholm Dementia and Special Team is a home care company that provides services in clients' own homes. The operation also provides companion services, relief care, and housing support. The operation consists of two large teams, and you can work in both depending on your interest and competence: The Dementia Team focuses on clients with dementia disorders where severity levels vary. The Special Team focuses on mental health conditions, ongoing substance abuse, and includes housing support. We work with the time tracking system Paragå, where employees log in and out of each client visit using a mobile phone, NFC tags, and document directly at the client's location in their journal. Paragå monitors logins via GPS. Where We Are Located and How You Travel to Clients We have clients in 8 different districts, and you start and end your work shift from Södermalm where we have our office. You travel to clients using public transportation or on foot (the operation does not have vehicles). An SL card is required for this position.
