We are now a Super Municipality! * Ahead of the fall semester, we are now recruiting temporary food service assistants for our kitchens within Food Services in Lerum Municipality. As a temporary worker, you will be employed by Lerum Municipality's Staffing Unit. Assignments apply when regular staff are absent, which can be both for short-term fill-ins and longer temporary positions. How it works: You will be employed on a temporary/hourly basis and receive ongoing requests for work shifts - sometimes the same day, sometimes with longer notice. You indicate your own availability for work in our digital booking system, where you can also express interest in specific work shifts. As a temporary worker, work assignments can vary from day to day, and you may work in different kitchens throughout the municipality. Working hours are daytime on weekdays, but weekend work in kitchens at elderly care facilities may also occur. 10 position(s). WORK DUTIES You contribute to making every meal a positive and pleasant experience for our guests. You work according to the municipality's vision with a focus on ecological purchasing, reduced food waste, and climate-smart meals. Your work duties include, among other things, dishwashing, cleaning, and receiving and handling deliveries of goods. If you have previous experience and/or training as a food service assistant, additional tasks may be included, such as: • Preparation of cold sauces, dressings, raw vegetables, and salads • Preparation of side dishes for meals • Bread baking QUALIFICATIONS Who are you? We are looking for someone who is self-directed, service-oriented, and responsible. You work in a structured manner, collaborate well with others, and have the ability to switch between different tasks without losing quality or pace. We would like to see that you have: • Experience working in a large-scale kitchen • Knowledge of special diets • Training as a food service assistant • Knowledge of food hygiene and self-control programs Since documentation and communication are part of the work, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills.
